Evert Bulcke

Evert Bulcke is chief executive of Tresco Engineering and of Tresco Group, both positions taken up in February 2025, and is based in Ghent. He chairs BEEGO, having joined its board as an independent member in April 2019 before becoming chairman in September 2021. Since January 2019 he has been a lector and entrepreneurship coach at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, where he also worked with KdG Student Entrepreneurs on matching corporate partners with young entrepreneurs between 2019 and 2024, and since October 2018 he has owned Hoofd- en Kaakcentrum.

He spent nearly nine years at Rombit, joining as chief commercial officer in March 2016, then serving as managing director of Romware and vice president of product, as chief operating officer, and finally as chief executive from December 2021 until December 2024. Earlier he worked for Stad Antwerpen, first in marketing communications project management and then on building a startup ecosystem, was part of the startup team at Luxury For Men, and handled marketing communications at De Studio. He also contributed as an author to The MIT Press from 2016 to 2023.

Bulcke began his career with an internship in account management at DDB Brussels, followed by roles at Alligence Communications and Croissantbleu. He holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in communication and media studies from the University of Antwerp and KU Leuven, completed a graduate programme in interaction philosophy at Columbia University, and followed a scale-up masterclass at Vlerick Business School.
