Fernando Aravena Ramirez

Fernando Aravena Ramirez is the founder and chief executive of Duplex, a role he has held since January 2026. He is based in Chile, and since June 2015 he has also been director general of Aragon Chile. Between June 2015 and December 2025 he was a director at Tertius Chile.

Earlier in his career he was general manager of GRUPO INMOBILIARIO PACAL S.A. from September 2012 to May 2015, and head of administration and finance at EBCO S.A. from 2004 to August 2012. He was financial controller at Chilectra from 2003 to 2004, deputy finance manager at Empresa Constructora Delta S.A. from 2000 to 2003, and head of administration and finance at Prefabricados de Hormigón Grau S.A. from 1998 to 2000. He began on record at Megaridos S.A., a subsidiary of Cemento Melón S.A., where he led administration and finance from 1994 to 1998.

He studied industrial civil engineering at the Universidad de Chile, and holds diplomas in finance from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in IFRS from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and in applied taxation from the Colegio de Contadores de Chile A.G., as well as a postgraduate qualification in tax management from the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana.
