Francesco Tarantola
Francesco Tarantola is COO of Netaxis Solutions, a role he has held since December 2024, and since February 2026 he has also served as the company's CISO and quality responsible. He is based in Utrecht and states expertise in executive leadership, information security management, ISO 27001, operational excellence and quality management.
Tarantola joined Netaxis Solutions in March 2015 as a senior VoIP engineer, then worked as project manager and operations manager from September 2018, and led integration and delivery from May 2021 until taking up the COO role. Before that he spent a decade at Italtel, first as a global integration engineer from March 2005 and from January 2010 as a solution integration leader. He began his career in December 2004 as a hardware and software testing consultant at H3G.
He studied at the Università di Pavia, where he completed a master's degree in electronics engineering in 2001 and a Ph.D. in telecommunications in 2004.
