
Francesco Valagussa is chief technology officer and co-founder of CryptoLabs, based in Abu Dhabi. He co-founded the company in January 2018, serving as partner and co-founder until January 2020, when he took up his current role. Since February 2021 he has also been chief technology officer of Crypto Projects in Stealth Mode.
Before that, he was senior information technology manager at Paul Hastings from February 2005 to August 2018, and co-owner and technology director of FEV Consulting from January 2005 to December 2017. He began the period on record at Jones Day, where he was ISS manager and IT manager between January 2004 and January 2005.
Valagussa studied engineering physics and applied physics at the Università degli Studi di Milano and holds a master's in information technology management (CIO) from SDA Bocconi, along with a specialisation in cryptocurrencies from Duke University. He also holds ITIL Expert and Prince 2 certifications from The Learning Tree, Inc.
