Francois Blondel

Francois Blondel is the founder and executive chairman of the board of KiOmed Pharma, which he founded in March 2014, and is based in Liège. Since January 2013 he has been CEO and managing director of Kitozyme. He co-founded OncoDNA in December 2012, where he is vice-chairman of the board, and BiOkuris in June 2021, where he chairs the board. He has also been a director of essenscia since February 2019 and of IntegraGen, an OncoDNA Group Company, since December 2020.

From February 2015 to March 2021 he was chairman of the board and CEO of Delphi Genetics, part of Catalent, and he chaired the board of Wishbone Biotech from November 2021 to January 2024. He co-founded UNITEQ S.A. and chaired its board from August 2012 to 2016. His other board roles have included Sopartec from 2001 to January 2024, AWEX from 2006 to 2016, Compagnie du Bois Sauvage, where he chaired the audit committee as an independent director, Ovizio, RECTICEL, Nanocyl, Women on Board Belgium, Amonis, BioWin, Kazidomi and the Union Wallonne des Entreprises.
