Frans Thoen
Frans Thoen is the managing director of Orbid, a position he has held since 1998. He is based in Brugge.
Before joining Orbid, he was IT manager at DSM from January 1985 to January 1998, and prior to that he was a director at Bizibit from 1983 to 1984.
Thoen studied mathematics at Ghent University from 1973 to 1979, graduating with a Master of Science, and followed a middle management programme at Vlerick Business School in 1986 and 1987.
