Frederik Denkens
Frederik Denkens is the founder of Skyscrapers, a company he started in April 2013 and which he continues to lead from Antwerp. Between January 2014 and January 2018 he was a member of the hosting expert group at FeWeb.
He founded iLibris, a managed cloud hosting business, in January 2000 and remained with it until August 2013. In the intervening years he was CTO and cofounder of Photo-Online from August 2006 to December 2012, and founder of ASPACE from September 2010 to May 2012. Earlier he worked as a support account manager at BEA Systems from 2005 to 2006 and at Sun Microsystems from 2002 to 2005, having begun as a junior support account manager at iPlanet in October 2000. His first recorded role was in pre-sales at Isabel in 2000.
He studied IT at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool from 1998 to 2000 and obtained his secondary diploma in sciences and mathematics at Koninklijk Atheneum Ekeren.
