Gauthier Van Damme

Gauthier Van Damme is Chief Operating Officer at pepps, a role he took up in May 2025. He is based in Brussels.

Before joining pepps, he spent more than a decade at Transurb, where he was head of projects from 2014 to 2018, general manager from 2018 to 2023, and managing director from 2023 until May 2025. He began his career at NMBS-SNCB, working in engineering and project management from 2011 to 2014, after three years as a researcher at KU Leuven from 2008 to 2011. Between 2003 and 2009 he was a leader and group leader at Scouts Savio.

Van Damme studied electrical and electronics engineering at KU Leuven, graduating in 2008, and computer science at UCL in 2006 and 2007. In 2017 he completed an Executive Master in Management at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
