Geert Herdt

Geert Herdt is chief executive officer of Aurify, a role he has held since January 2024, and is based in Antwerp. Since September 2023 he has also been managing director APAC and co-founder of Aurify Offshoring, and since January 2024 he has advised Unifiedpost Group as CIO advisor.

He was chief information officer of Unifiedpost Group from February 2016 to January 2024, and over an overlapping period, from January 2017 to January 2024, served as CIO and CISO of Banqup S.A. Before that he was general manager of Finodis from October 2013 to January 2017, and ICT manager at Fortis Commercial Finance from January 2008 to October 2013. He spent more than a decade as ICT manager at Partners in Lighting Int - IT NV, from May 1996 to January 2007, after working in system engineering at Olivetti from 1994 to 1996 and as a software support engineer at Hilco from 1993 to 1994.

He studied civil engineering in computer science at the Université catholique de Louvain and attended ST Gumarus college.
