Geert Sergoyne
Geert Sergoyne is the co-founder and chief executive of Gemsotec, which he founded in July 2017. He is based in Herent.
Before that, he spent a decade at Air Liquide, joining in October 2007 as a coordination engineer and going on to hold the roles of real time operations manager from 2011, operations control center manager from 2013, and technology manager from June 2014 until December 2017. He began his career as a researcher at KU Leuven from September 2006 to September 2007.
Sergoyne studied bio-engineering and chemistry at KU Leuven from 2001 to 2006, and returned there for postgraduate studies in business administration from 2009 to 2010.
