Geert Van Kerckhoven

Geert founded Oper Credits in 2018 alongside Nick Van Berckelaer and Wouter Lachat, after the three had worked together at EY helping lenders optimise their mortgage processes. Oper raised EUR 11 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners and ABN Amro Ventures, growing to a 45-person team spread across 16 cities in Europe.

The platform works as a white-label solution that allows banks and brokers to digitise the process from initial contact to contract signing. Geert has been featured on the Voice of Fintech podcast discussing the company's mission to cut mortgage time-to-yes dramatically across European retail banking.
