
Georgy Taranov
Georgy Taranov is a co-founder of lipefi and is based in the Netherlands. Since July 2023 he has also been a co-founder and chief technology officer of Husk. He states expertise in Python, risk management, software development and machine learning.
Between 2021 and July 2023 he was a partner at Exlid, and in mid-2022 he spent three months as an entrepreneur in residence at Antler. Earlier in 2022 he lectured at the Higher School of Economics. From 2019 to 2021 he headed AI at Sberbank, having previously worked as a risk management expert at Cashwagon from 2018 to 2019 and as a manager at PwC from 2017 to 2018. He began his career at DeltaCredit Bank, where he worked in risk management and risk technology from 2013 to 2017.
He studied biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology at Lomonosov Moscow State University, completing a specialist degree between 2006 and 2012.
