
Gert Loterman
Gert Loterman is the founder of Innoverius, a company he started in 2018, and is based in Dendermonde. Before that he was an architect at ArcelorMittal from 2015 to 2017, following a postdoctoral position at Ghent University between 2013 and 2015. From 2008 to 2013 he was a lecturer at University College Ghent.
He studied at KU Leuven from 2000 to 2005, qualifying as an industrial engineer in electronics with a focus on IT. He then moved to Ghent University, where he obtained a degree as civil engineer in computer science, specialising in software engineering, between 2005 and 2008, and a doctorate in applied economic science in the field of artificial intelligence, completed in 2013.
