Gilles Meyer

Gilles Meyer is a data and AI consultant based in Liège and the founder of GMind analytics, which he started in June 2017 and still runs. Since March 2024 he has also been lead architect for the Power Platform at John Cockerill, an employer he had worked with previously as a data and AI consultant between January 2022 and July 2023. Between those two periods at John Cockerill he was a cloud and AI consultant at Automation & Robotics.

Earlier, Meyer worked at Inform GmbH on two occasions, first as a software developer from November 2012 to August 2015 and later as a frontend and integration consultant from September 2018 to December 2021. In between he was a senior software engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment and then at the Université de Liège. He began his career as a consultant at n-Side S.A and, before that, as a research fellow of the F.R.S. - FNRS.

Meyer studied at the University of Liège, qualifying as a software engineer in computer science in 2007 and completing a PhD in machine learning in 2011.
