Gilles Moerman

Gilles Moerman is a co-founder of aionix, a company he started in December 2024. He is based in Desselgem.

Before that he spent more than five years at Vintecc, joining in July 2019 as a software engineer and taking up the role of robotics software project lead in August 2022, which he held until December 2024.

Moerman completed a master's thesis at CNH Industrial between August 2018 and June 2019, during his master's in burgerlijk ingenieur at Ghent University, which he obtained in 2019. He had earlier studied industrieel ingenieur at KU Leuven, taking a bachelor's degree between 2013 and 2016 and a master's degree between 2016 and 2017, and carried out a master's thesis at ArcelorMittal Belgium from August 2016 to June 2017. In the summer of 2017 he worked as a student worker at Hemeryck.
