Gilles Uyttenhove

Gilles Uyttenhove is the founder and chief executive of cloudknife, which he co-founded in January 2026. He is based in Gent.

Before that he worked at Delhaize Belgium, which he joined in December 2020 as a data and analytics analyst, becoming data and analytics product owner in November 2022 and data and AI innovation lead in December 2025, a role he held until March 2026. From May 2017 to November 2019 he was a business controller at La Lorraine Bakery Group NV.

Uyttenhove studied at Ghent University, where he completed a bachelor's degree in business engineering in 2014, a master's degree in business engineering with a finance specialisation in 2016, and a master's degree in data science for business, formerly marketing analysis, in 2020. During his studies he spent the 2014-2015 academic year at ISC Paris on an Erasmus exchange programme. He attended secondary school at Don Boscocollege Zwijnaarde, in mathematics and sciences with supplementary mathematics.
