Gunter Van Steen

Gunter Van Steen is an agile team lead, product owner and digital consultant at equalminds, a role he has held since August 2024. He is based in Antwerp and states expertise in information architecture, product management, agile methodologies, functional analysis and team leadership. Since January 2021 he has also been founder and digital architect of Rebel Scrum.

Before joining equalminds he was a DXP solution architect at ACA IT-Solutions from 2023 to 2024, a functional analyst at Dropsolid from 2021 to 2023, and a product manager at Ordina Belgium from 2020 to 2021. He led development at iValue between 2018 and 2020. At Intracto, which he joined in December 2013 as a senior Drupal/PHP developer, he went on to hold technical lead, team lead and project and functional lead positions until April 2018.

Earlier he was development lead at Nivario, lectured on PHP and Drupal at Lessius Mechelen, and founded Originall in June 2009, leading its development until December 2013. He interned at Cronos and worked as a multimedia consultant at E-Volve and a junior sales assistant at Saturn Meir. He studied interactive multimedia design at Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen from 2006 to 2009, following economics and mathematics at KA Vaartland, and also studied at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
