Guy Van der Meeren

Guy Van der Meeren is the CEO of calltic, based in Gent. He took up that role in November 2017 and has since September 2023 also been CEO of FraudBuster. He has been the owner of Logyc BVBA since January 2006.

From October 2003 to January 2014 he was co-founder, CTO and owner of SIGOS, and he returned to the company as principal consultant between January 2014 and August 2016. During 2005 he was team lead for IP network design and engineering at BASE (Telenet Group). Earlier he worked at BICS, first as IP network development manager and then as senior product manager for mobile data, between 2001 and 2004. He began his telecoms career at Belgacom / Proximus in January 1995 as a network planning engineer, later serving as number portability project manager and as technical product manager for regulatory wholesale until January 2001. In 1994 he was a maintenance engineer at Volvo Cars Gent, following military service with the Belgian Armed Forces as an IT instructor in 1993.

He holds an MBA from EDHEC Business School and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ghent University.
