Hugo Schoukens

Hugo Schoukens is the CEO of double-pass, based in Brussels. He has held that role since November 2004, and since October 2021 he has also served as a strategic advisor to Double Pass. Since July 2023 he has worked as a maatschappelijk econoom at BV H. Schoukens-Wyns.

Between 1992 and 1999 he was head football coach, academy director and recruitment officer at RSC Anderlecht - RWDM Brussels. From April 1987 to December 2002 he was a branch banker director at BNP Paribas Fortis.

Schoukens studied at HUB-EHSAL, qualifying as an investment adviser in investment banking in 1993, and at VLEKHO Business School Brussel in 2002. He completed an MBA in sports management at the University of Leicester between 2003 and 2007, a postgraduate degree in moraal en humanistische filosofie at UCLL in September 2023, and EDUMA Economie at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from September 2024 to June 2025. He holds a UEFA A licence and an Academy Director level 2 Professional Football qualification from the Royal Belgian Football Federation.
