Ian De Proost

Ian De Proost is the founder of SEQUENTIQ, where he has served as managing director with responsibility for submission project management since May 2023. He is based in Hoogstraten.

Before founding SEQUENTIQ, he spent almost fifteen years at Johnson & Johnson. He joined in August 2008 in GLP quality assurance, then moved into project management with GCO Planning & Resource Management in May 2009 and worked as a project manager on behalf of CMAST from November 2009. He was appointed senior manager for programme coordination in November 2011 and director of Accelerando programme management in February 2014, a role he held until January 2022. From January 2022 until May 2023 he was a director and project management leader at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson.

He studied at the University of Antwerp, completing a master's degree in biomedical sciences in 2003 and a PhD in the same field in 2008.
