Ian Jeffrey
Ian Jeffrey is Managing Director of Helion Market Research Africa, a position he has held since April 2014. He is based in Johannesburg. From July 2012 to January 2022 he was Managing Partner of Customer Experience Agency.
Earlier in 2012 he spent six months at Ipsos as Global Support Director for mystery shopping, having served as CEO of Ipsos Markinor from November 2009 to December 2011. He joined Synovate in May 2006 as Client Services Director, and in 2009 held the roles of Group Client Services Director and Global Mystery Shopping Operations Director. Before that he was Group Managing Director of Lodge Service from 2002 to 2006, and Managing Director of REACT Surveys from 1994 to 2001.
Jeffrey studied at Queen's College Boys' High School and took an MA in Social Anthropology at the University of the Witwatersrand, where he also completed the Management Advancement Programme in 1999.
