Israel Zarate

Israel Zarate is the founder and chief executive of neocite, a company he started in August 2019 as Neocite Group. He is based in Puebla. Since April 2024 he has also served as general director for LATAM at Pulse Thrive, and he co-founded Central Franquicias de México, a role recorded from January 2025 to March 2026.

His earlier career was in architecture. From August 2017 to December 2023 he was co-founder and head of architectural design at AO | estudio adapto arquitectura, having held the same combination of roles at Taller de Arquitectura Líquida, which he co-founded and where he worked from January 2005 to August 2017. He began at zva group in 2003 as an architectural designer and project team member.

Zarate studied architecture at Universidad de las Américas Puebla from 1999 to 2005, spending the 2002 to 2003 academic year studying architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
