James Pederson
James Pederson is the co-founder and chief executive of ordr, a role he has held since January 2020. He is based in Seattle.
Before that he worked in fuel and energy sales. From August 2024 to December 2025 he was vice president of commercial sales at Guttman Energy, Inc. He was a vice president and NA sales leader at World Kinect Energy Services from November 2020 to November 2022, having previously served as VP West at World Fuel Services Americas, Inc. from January 2016 to November 2020. Between September 2009 and January 2016 he was general manager for the West Region at Associated Petroleum Products Inc., and from February 2008 to July 2009 national sales manager at WEX/Telepoint. From March 1995 to January 2008 he was SVP of the fleet division at PetroCard Systems.
Earlier, Pederson was an executive account representative at Lincare and at AT&T/McCaw Communications. He studied history at Eastern Washington University, taking a BA.
