Jan Geukens

Jan Geukens is the CTO of MyCSN, a role he has held since August 2018. He is based in Antwerp and has also been the owner of @Home Concepts since July 2014.

Between 2015 and 2019 he worked at Cipal Schaubroeck as a consultant in IT infrastructure and as a datacenter and cloud architect. From 2008 to 2014 he was a mainframe system engineer at I.R.I.S. ICT, and over that period and after it he took on a series of consultancy assignments: mainframe storage management at Belfius, an ASG Cortex to TWS migration and a z/VM and z/Linux DMZ network audit at P&V, mainframe hardware migration and system installation at Ladbrokes, mainframe product conversions and a z/VM and z/Linux proof of concept at D'Ieteren, IBM service delivery management at GROUPE OPEN BELGIUM, TWS environment management at DTS Luxembourg, and mainframe education work at ABIS and Karel de Grote-Hogeschool. He was a thesis student at KBC Bank & Verzekering from September 2007 to January 2008.

Geukens holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and ICT from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen and a master's in the same field from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven. He subsequently completed mainframe system engineer training at ABIS Leuven and IRIS ICT Vilvoorde, and IBM courses on z/VM and z/Linux, Tivoli Cloud and NETEZZA.
