Jan Van Lishout
Jan Van Lishout is the founder of qteal, which he started in July 2017, and is based in Antwerp. Since November 1999 he has also been the owner of Vision IT bvba.
Between January 2015 and June 2016 he was solution director for intelligent systems in the Benelux at Altran, and from September 2010 to December 2014 he was managing director for Belgium at TASS Technology Solutions. He spent more than a decade at Progress Software, joining in November 1999 as team leader for core products in Belgium and going on to hold the roles of lead architect for North America, technical account manager, lead architect for EMEA, country manager for Belgium, EMEA SOA practice director and, until June 2010, EMEA general sales director. He began his career at Computer Support, where he was a software engineer from August 1994 to October 1999.
He studied computer science at Hoge School Mechelen, science at KIH De Nayer and trained as a public airline pilot at the Belgian Aviation School.
