
Jan Viroux is based in Stabroek and is a founder, shareholder and business development manager at ensys, a role he has held since October 2019. He has been general manager and owner of Ensys Energie since February 2015, and since June 2018 he has been co-founder and chief commercial officer of Helexia Flanders at Helexia Belgium. He has sat on the board of BELESCO, the Belgian ESCO Association, since October 2020.
His association with Ensys began in September 2008 as sales manager for Flanders, followed by business development roles for B2C and then the Benelux, before he became manager and owner in July 2013. Earlier he was a business development manager at JAVAC NV from 2006 to 2008 and a junior product manager at Strohart en Schifke. He coordinated the tennis school at T.O.P. Tennis from 2006 to 2009 and worked as a tennis trainer at Sportopolis from 1996 to 2006.
Viroux studied energy efficiency at Hogeschool PXL, qualified as an Energiedeskundige Type B through SyntraPXL and holds a REScert certificate in solar energy technology from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
