Jasper Van Hoorick

Jasper Van Hoorick is the chief executive officer of BIO INX, a role he has held since April 2022. He is based in Belgium. He joined the company in May 2020 as a project manager, a position he held until taking up the chief executive role.

From January 2020 to April 2022 he was a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University. Between January 2015 and December 2019 he was a PhD student at Ghent University and at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, working with Polymer Chemistry and Biomaterials at Ghent University and Brussels Photonics at the VUB. That work led to a PhD in chemistry from Ghent University and a PhD in engineering from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, both completed in 2019.

He took a master's degree in chemistry at Ghent University between 2007 and 2014, an executive master class in innovation and entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School in 2015 and 2016, and the Utrecht Summer School on 3D printing and biofabrication at Utrecht University in 2015. He attended Sint-Jozefscollege Aalst from 2001 to 2007.
