Jean-Louis Lauwers

Jean-Louis Lauwers co-founded Synergy AI in December 2025 and serves as its chief technology officer. He is based in Brussels. He has worked at Winamp since May 2021, first on Web3 and, from December 2024, as a .NET backend developer, and in August 2024 he founded NewVanguard Technologies.

Between September 2017 and October 2021 he held a series of roles at Targetspot, beginning as implementation and support manager for the EMEA office, then heading client services, implementation and support for EMEA, before leading client services globally and, from September 2020, global customer support. He was also a co-founder of Contentera from September 2017 to December 2022.

Earlier he was group project manager at RadionomyGroup, chief product officer at WooRank, and web team manager and then ICT programme manager at Hello Agency. He began his career as a programmer analyst at MLOZ, then held the same role at Sword Technologies.

He studied IT at IPL and EPFC, and business informatics at the Ecole d'Ergologie de Belgique.
