Jean-Luc Haleng

Jean-Luc Haleng is co-owner and sales and marketing director of Medicatablet devient MediConnect.World, a position he has held since January 2013. He is based in Liège. Since January 2007 he has also worked as a senior consultant in the pharma industry, covering people management, sales, marketing, communication and coaching, and since January 2010 he has served as administrator and president of RFCL Tennis Club Rocourt, having been administrator and vice president of Rfcl Tennis Club from 2010 to 2012.

Haleng began his career at Eli Lilly and Company, where he was a district sales manager from September 1977 to December 1987. He then spent from January 1988 to August 2003 at sanofi-aventis as sales and marketing manager, followed by the same role at Sandoz from September 2003 to November 2006. He was sales director at Astellas from January 2007 to April 2008, sales and marketing director at Docpharma from May 2009 to September 2010, and marketing and business intelligence director at Mylan Pharmaceuticals from September 2010 to July 2011.

He studied economics at the University of Liège from 1973 to 1977, after attending institut St Joseph from 1970 to 1973.
