Jean Zurstrassen
Jean Zurstrassen co-founded Skynet (sold to Belgacom) and Keytrade Bank (sold to Credit Agricole) and is now a strategic advisor at Expon Capital and co-founder of the Belcube seed fund with Gregoire de Streel.
Jean Zurstrassen is an elder statesman of the Brussels tech scene. Together with Jose Zurstrassen and Gregoire de Streel, he co-founded Skynet in January 1995, Belgium's first major internet provider, which Belgacom acquired in full by 1998. In 1998 the trio created VMS-Keytrade, Belgium's first online broker, which listed on Euronext in 1999, became Keytrade Bank in 2002, and was sold to Credit Agricole Group in 2002. He co-founded the Belcube seed fund with Gregoire de Streel, focusing on insuretech and service sector startups. He now serves as strategic advisor at Expon Capital.
