Jelle Demeulemeester

Jelle Demeulemeester is managing partner and chief executive of mynd, a role he has held since January 2022. He is based in Kortrijk.

He joined CREAX in January 2015 as an innovation engineer and became programme director in September of that year, remaining with the company until February 2022. Before that he was a research scientist working on atom probe tomography at imec from February 2013 to December 2014.

His earlier career was in academic research. He held research fellowships at the Instituut voor Kern- en Stralingsfysica at K.U.Leuven from October 2010 to July 2011 and again from October 2012 to June 2013, and at the Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal between August 2011 and November 2012.

Demeulemeester studied physics at K.U.Leuven from 2002 to 2006, graduating cum laude, and went on to study nuclear solid state physics there from 2006 to 2010.
