Jelle Van Gompel
Jelle Van Gompel is co-founder and managing director of Orion Intelligence, based in Leuven, where he has also served as chief technology officer since September 2016. Since June 2011 he has been the founder and owner of ThinkNexT.
Between 2010 and 2012 he worked as a consultant at Altran and as an IT project leader at Electrabel. From April 2009 to June 2011 he was the owner of Agile Belgium, and during the 2008 to 2009 academic year he handled PR for AEGEE-Leuven.
He studied at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer sciences and electrotechnics, from 2005 to 2008, followed by a master's degree in engineering, computer sciences, distributed systems, from 2008 to 2010. Before that he attended Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege Mol, where he followed the science and mathematics track from 1999 to 2005.
