Jerome Ista

Jerome Ista has been chief executive officer of Polarsun since August 2024.

He spent much of his career at Equans BeLux, which he first joined in July 2007 as facility manager, a role he held until January 2013. He returned in June 2016 as sector manager, became operation manager in September 2019 and department manager in September 2023, remaining until August 2024. Between those two periods at Equans BeLux he worked as a sales engineer at Munters from January 2013 to June 2016.

Ista studied at Helmo Gramme from 2003 to 2007, qualifying as an industrial engineer in industry with a focus on engineering and industrial management. In 2008 he obtained a continuing education certificate in facility management from IFMA at the Haute école de la province de Liège, and in 2013 and 2014 he was certified in the second, third and fourth study cycles of ATIC, the Association Royale de la Technique du chauffage, ventilation et climatisation.
