Jochen Maertens

Jochen Maertens is Managing Director of ConXioN, a role he took up in August 2023. He is based in Brussels.

He founded Synergics CVBA in February 2006 and was its CEO until January 2023, a period that overlapped with his membership of the executive board of Wortell from May 2021 to January 2023. Before that he was CIO of Agoria from January 2000 to July 2006.

Maertens was Chairman of the Board of Cloudalize from October 2014 to May 2016 and has advised its board since May 2016. He has also been a member of the advisory board of Awingu since August 2016.

He studied at St Jozefs Hasselt, Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, followed the Young Management Program at Vlerick Business School in 2003 and 2004 and the Director Effectiveness programme at Guberna in 2020, and took a Master in Cybersecurity Management at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management between March 2023 and March 2024.
