Jochen Walschaers
Jochen Walschaers is COO and owner of BriskSky l Drone Fleet Provider, a role he has held since January 2021. He is based in Antwerp.
He has also been CEO of U-FLY BVBA since January 2016 and has taught science at Koninklijk Atheneum Berchem since September 2009. At Ben Air Flight Academy he has held a series of roles since 2010, working as a flight instructor and instructor pilot, as English manager for the Private Pilot License, and, since August 2015, as drone and RPAS instructor and head of training for drones. In 2015 he audited the academy's Remote Pilot Handbook. Earlier, from August 2007 to July 2009, he worked at Cafe Local.
He attended Scheppersinstituut Mechelen from 2000 to 2006, studying science and mathematics, and took his Air Traffic Pilot License for fixed wing aircraft at Ben Air Flight Academy between 2006 and 2009, followed by a Certificated Flight Instructor qualification there from 2009 to 2012. He completed a specific teachers degree in science at TSM in 2010 and 2011.
