Johan Janssens

Johan Janssens is chief operating officer of bedal, a role he took up in March 2024. He is based in Belgium.

Before joining bedal, he was project lead quality at Cegeka from June 2022 to April 2024. He spent five and a half years at Punch Powertrain, working in quality and process management from January 2017 to June 2022 and in business process management from July 2020. Earlier he worked in manufacturing and supply chain management at TheraSolve NV from July 2015 to January 2017, and in process engineering at IPTE during the first half of 2015.

His career began at Medinvents NV, which he joined as a manufacturing engineer in March 2003. He became manufacturing manager in April 2004 and, from February 2008 until January 2015, served as quality assurance manager and chief operating officer.

Janssens completed a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering at XIOS Hogeschool Limburg between 2001 and 2003. He later took courses at VDAB in turning and milling and in 2D/3D computer aided design, studied 3D animation at SyntraPXL, and obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt at IKMW in 2015.
