Johan Taeye
Johan Taeye is the founder and managing partner of frePPLe, a supply chain planning software company, which he started in March 2013. He is based in Brussels.
Between June 2006 and March 2013 he worked as a consultant, specialising in supply chain planning software. Before that he spent nine years at i2 Technologies as a supply chain solution strategist, from October 1996 to December 2005, having begun his career at Applied Materials, where he was a supply chain consultant from February 1992 to October 1996.
Taeye studied mechanical engineering at Ghent University, completing a master's degree in 1991, and took a master's in advanced manufacturing at The University of Manchester between October 1990 and September 1991. In 2004 he followed a programme in enterprise application integration and software reengineering at the Institute for Continuing Education (IVPV).
