Johan Vos
Johan Vos is a co-founder of Gluon HQ, where he has served as co-founder and CTO of cloud products since January 2015. He is based in Leuven.
He founded LodgON in April 2001 and has been its owner since, taking on the role of CTO there in October 2008. In the same month he became owner of RedFox. Since April 2010 he has been a steering member of Devoxx. He co-founded Sesuad'ra in 1993 and remained with it until 2011.
Earlier, Vos was director of new technologies at ACUNIA NV from September 2001 to July 2003, having joined ACUNIA in January 2000 as director of product development. From 1996 to 2000 he worked as a consultant at The Reference and as a researcher at STW.
He obtained a master's degree in mining engineering at KU Leuven between 1990 and 1995, and a PhD in applied physics at Delft University of Technology between 1996 and 2000.
