John Lavendy
John Lavendy is Managing Director of Cresco Cybersecurity, a role he has held since March 2024. He is based in Montigny-le-Bretonneux. He joined Cresco Cybersecurity in February 2024 as a partner working on business development, before taking up the managing director role the following month.
Between April 2023 and February 2024 he was a business development manager at infinigate Belgium, covering Rapid7, Corelight and SASE. He was a channel account manager at Nuvias BeLux from April 2018 to January 2024, and held the same role at DCB Benelux from December 2014 to January 2024.
Lavendy spent much of his earlier career at Ingram Micro N.V., which he joined in March 1993, working in inside sales, as eBusiness manager, as sales supervisor and as eCommerce project manager. He began in field sales at Chauvenet SA in 1992.
He studied communication at the Université libre de Bruxelles from 1988 to 1992, and also studied at arpac.
