Johnny Vanhentenryk

Johnny Vanhentenryk is a co-founder of Dokapi, which he started in October 2024. He is based in Dilbeek. He has been managing partner at Ixor since January 2008, and has worked there as a cloud architect on AWS serverless since July 2021, having previously been a scrum master and an AI engineer with the company. He is also DevOps technical lead at BNP Paribas Fortis, a role he took up in April 2022.

His association with BNP Paribas Fortis dates to November 2006 and has covered work as a consultant software engineer, software architect, business analyst, lead technical analyst, DevOps architect and coach, and DevOps engineer and full stack developer. Between 2011 and 2019 he was a partner at OOliba, and from 2018 to 2019 he held a DevOps expert role at Belfius. Earlier positions include architect and project manager at Credendo Group, senior consultant at Ni2, senior IT architect at Telenet, consultant software engineer at Trax, senior software engineer at EMC BDG and software engineer at Mediagenix. From 1995 to 2005 he was a tennis initiator and youth sports supervisor at Tennis SDI vzw.

He holds a master's degree in theoretical computer science from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Bachelor of Applied Science in machine learning from Udacity, and has completed courses through Coursera and Udemy.
