Jon Marks
Jon Marks is a co-founder of hook-and-net and is based in London. He has been a co-founder of Pugpig since February 2011, having spent the previous year at News Corp as lead architect on Project Alesia.
Before that he worked at LBi Belgium from June 2006 to February 2010, where he was head of development and technical architect, following a period as technical architect at LB Icon from October 2005. Earlier in his career he was chief technical architect at Aspect Internet from October 1999 to January 2005, a Vignette contractor at IPC Magazines, and technical architect at Sportal. He also took on contract work for ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Electric Ocean, Data Command Limited and Standard and Poors between 1995 and 1998.
Marks studied mathematics at the University of Cape Town from 1992 to 1995, graduating with a B.Sc (Hons) with distinction. He attended Westerford High School.
