Overview

Jose co-founded Univercells in 2013 alongside Hugues Bultot and served as CTO before founding Quantoom Biosciences in 2021 to focus specifically on scalable RNA production. Quantoom received USD 13.9 million (EUR 12.4 million) in grant funding to develop its mRNA manufacturing platform for vaccines and therapeutics.

The Nfinity platform covers DNA (Nplify), RNA (Ntensify), and formulation (Ncapsulate) manufacturing, providing a full-stack RNA partner from sequence to large-scale GMP production. Quantoom has established facilities in Belgium and France and has entered partnerships with eTheRNA immunotherapies and Stevanato Group.
