Julie Winand

Julie Winand is Chief Operating Officer at position-meta, a role she took up in September 2025, and is based in Namur. Since April 2024 she has also been the founder of WinAndGrow.

She joined QUALIblood in August 2023 as Chief Business Development Officer and served as its Chief Executive Officer from April 2024 to August 2025. Before that she spent more than five years at THERAVET S.A, first as a director from January 2018 and then as CCO from June 2020. She was a business manager at Novasep between March 2017 and January 2018, and worked at BONE THERAPEUTICS S.A. from December 2013, initially as a quality control officer and from March 2015 as a project manager. Earlier she was an R&D analyst at QUALITY ASSISTANCE S.A., held an internship at ProGenosis and taught synchronised swimming at Rovande.

Winand completed a master's degree in biology at the Université catholique de Louvain in 2009 and a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology there in 2013, during which time she was also a junior lecturer at Cefochim.
