Julien Balmont
Julien Balmont is based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, where he is a co-founder of resengo and serves as its chief technology officer and chief product officer. He co-founded Zenchef in May 2012 and has been its chief technology and chief product officer since. Between October 2021 and February 2022 he was a member of The Unicorn CTO.
Before starting Zenchef, Balmont worked at PayPal as a project manager and senior developer from September 2011 to May 2012, and in the same capacity at Zong from January 2010 and at Echovox from February 2005. Earlier he was a Java developer at PSA Peugeot Citroën from May 2004 to February 2005, a PHP developer at ACTOLL from April 2003 to April 2004, and a development engineer at GFI Informatique from August 2001 to August 2002.
He studied computer software engineering at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, gaining an associate's degree in 2001, after completing his secondary education in physical sciences at the Institut Notre Dame Meudon.
