Jurgen Jacobs

Jurgen Jacobs is the founder of qaelum and is based in Rotterdam. He also works at Unilever, where he has been Category and Demand Planning Manager for Foods Europe since November 2025. He first joined the company in March 2019 as a portfolio and innovation intern with Ice Cream Europe, returning in September 2021 as portfolio and innovation coordinator for the same business, before moving on to a business analyst role in supply chain strategies in November 2023 and to category planning manager for Foods Europe in January 2025. Earlier, between September 2016 and January 2018, he was an event engineer at aanmelder.nl. He studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam, completing a bachelor's degree in economics and business economics in 2020 and a master's degree in financial economics in 2021.
