Jurgen Simons

Jurgen Simons is the CEO of nowmax and is based in the Netherlands. Since May 2025 he has also flown as a first officer on the B737NG for Transavia.

He trained as a student pilot with EPST European Pilot Selection & Training from September 2022 to December 2024, and attended OSM Aviation Academy between September 2022 and August 2024. In parallel he studied Aviation at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2019 to August 2024, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science.

Earlier he worked at Viggo Service Enablers, joining in August 2021 as a baggage and ramp handling employee and completing a graduation internship there from February to July 2022. Before that he was a stock clerk at Hoogvliet BV from March 2018 to October 2019. He completed his Havo at Teylingen College Duinzigt and then at Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest, where he followed the nature and technology track.
