Kalman Tiboldi is the founder and chief technology officer of GemOne, where he also sits on the board. He is based in Anzegem.
Tiboldi began his career as chief engineer with the Romanian Armed Forces from 1978 to 1981, then spent the 1980s as IT manager at Special Heavy Machines. He joined TVH in February 1991 as a senior software engineer, and from January 2000 to January 2011 was CIO of TVH Forklift Parts NV and of Group TVH - Thermote & Vanhalst. From January 2011 he was chief business innovation officer at TVH and at TVH Rental & Equipment, holding the latter role until July 2020. He led GemOne as chief executive officer from October 2019 to July 2020 before taking up his current position.
He holds a master's degree in civil engineering from the Technical Military Academy, completed in 1978, and a master's in mathematics and computer science from the University of Bucharest, completed in 1986. He returned to the Technical Military Academy in 1987 for post-academic study in information and communication.
