Karel Vinckier
Karel Vinckier is the founder of hsbcad, based in Gent, where he has worked in founding and business development since January 2025. He founded the company and served as chairman of the board from September 2021 to January 2025, and held the role of chief executive officer twice, from March 2014 to September 2021 and again from January 2023 to January 2025.
Before that, Vinckier was general manager at ITW from March 2008 to March 2014. From May 2000 to March 2008 he was chief executive officer of HsbSOFT, N.V., and from October 1988 to May 2000 he was zaakvoerder of Studie & Expertise Bureau Vinckier.
He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from HOGENT.
