Kathleen Steegmans
Kathleen Steegmans is a designer based in Antwerp. She has owned and designed at MIST images since April 2011, has worked as a visual artist under KathleenSteegmans.be since January 2018, and founded De Kunstacademie 2.0 in August 2022.
Earlier in her career she worked in pre-press and dtp at Vrijdag Grafis from May to September 2004, and was a project controller for design at Duni N.V. - De Ster from July to December 2004. She was a graphic designer at Outline Graphics from February 2005 to March 2006, and chief hostess for the European Quality Congres at the Vlaams Centrum voor Kwaliteitszorg in the spring of 2006. In 2010 she was a photo editor at Bongo, and in 2011 she worked part time as a graphic employee at Copy Groenenborg.
She studied artistic and general education at SHIVKV in Genk from 1991 to 1994, and then took a master's degree in fine arts, free arts, at Hogeschool PXL from 1994 to 1998.
