Katia Haelewyn

Katia Haelewyn is COO and operations manager at Globis Software, a role she has held since September 2023. Based in Welden, she joined Globis Software in April 2017 as project lead, then served as customer service and quality assurance manager from September 2018 to June 2022 and as operations manager from April 2022 to August 2023.

Before that she spent more than thirteen years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she worked in operations control team lifecycle management from August 2003, as infrastructure service delivery manager, in business operations and efficiency management, as automation data and PMO manager, and finally as business operations manager for the Global Operations Center until January 2017. She began her career at Procter & Gamble in July 1995 as helpdesk and data centre assistant, later working as application support engineer and, from January 2001, as change manager.

She studied industrial engineering in electro-mechanics and information technology at Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' in Ghent from 1990 to 1995, and attended Ghent University from 1989 to 1991.
